Candidate Confidentiality Agreement

What we ask candidates to keep confidential during a PingAura interview process

Effective: 31 August 2026

Interviewing at PingAura means we show you real work. You will see take-home briefs, product internals, and how the team thinks about problems we have not solved yet. This notice sets out what we ask you to keep to yourself in return. It is short on purpose: it is a notice, not a contract, and it does not create an employment relationship or an obligation to hire.

1. What this covers

Anything non-public that PingAura shares with you, or that you see or hear, because you are taking part in a PingAura interview process. That includes material sent to you in writing, shown on a screen during a call, or discussed out loud in an interview. It applies from your first contact with us and whether or not you are offered a role.

2. What we ask you to keep confidential

  • Take-home briefs and datasets. The exercise itself, any sample data we give you, and the solution you write for it. Please do not post them publicly, share them with other candidates, or add them to a public repository or portfolio.
  • Unreleased product and roadmap detail. Features we have not launched, timelines, pricing we are considering, and anything described to you as planned rather than shipped.
  • Architecture and security specifics. How our systems are built and secured, including infrastructure diagrams, data flows, vendor choices, and anything about our controls or known weaknesses.
  • Other candidates. Names, details, or the fact that a particular person is interviewing, if you happen to learn it during a panel, a group exercise, or a scheduling mix-up.
  • Interview questions and evaluation criteria. Our questions, scoring rubrics, and interviewer notes. Sharing them makes the process unfair for the next person.
  • Business and customer information. Customer names, metrics, contracts, financials, and anything else commercially sensitive that comes up in conversation.

Use this information only to take part in the interview process. Please do not use it for your own or anyone else's commercial benefit, and do not pass it to a current or future employer.

3. What is not confidential

  • Your own skills, knowledge, and experience. What you already knew, and the general skill you sharpened by doing the exercise, remain yours. Nothing here limits where you work next or what you build.
  • Public information about PingAura. Our website, documentation, blog, pricing pages, and anything else we have published or that is otherwise public through no fault of yours.
  • The fact that you interviewed with us. You are free to say you spoke to PingAura, which role it was for, and what you thought of the process, including publicly.
  • Your own compensation. The salary or equity we discuss with you is yours to discuss, where the law protects that right. Please do not disclose what other people are paid.
  • Information you already had or received independently. Anything you knew before we told you, or learned separately from a source that was free to share it.

4. How long it lasts

Two years from the day your interview process ends, whatever the outcome. Trade secrets stay protected for as long as the law protects them. If you are hired, your employment agreement takes over from this notice.

When the process ends, please delete any files we sent you. Keeping your own solution to a take-home for your personal reference is fine, as long as you do not publish it or the brief.

5. Your legal rights are not affected

Nothing in this notice stops you from doing anything the law entitles you to do. In particular, you may report a concern to a regulator, law enforcement, or any other competent authority; make a protected disclosure under whistleblowing law; discuss your own pay and working conditions where that right is protected; take legal advice; and respond to a court order, subpoena, or other legal requirement. If a rule here ever conflicts with such a right, the right wins.

6. Questions

If you are unsure whether something is covered, ask before you share it. Email support@pingaura.ai and we will give you a straight answer.
