Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies PingAura uses on www.pingaura.ai and in the product, what they do, how long they last, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information between page loads and visits. We also use related technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the site and product to function, so they are set without consent.

• sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token (Supabase): authenticate your session. Session / up to 7 days.
• csrfSecret: protects form submissions and API calls. Session.
• cookie_consent_status (local storage): remembers your cookie choice until you change it.
• theme: remembers your light/dark mode. 1 year.
• lang: remembers your language choice. 1 year.
• cf_clearance, __cf_bm, _cfuvid (Cloudflare): bot protection and traffic security. Session / up to 1 year.

Analytics (optional)

Set only after you accept cookies in the banner. They help us understand which features are useful and where the site and product can improve. If you reject, these tools do not load.

• ph_* (PostHog): product usage and a pseudonymous distinct-id. Up to 1 year.
• _clck, _clsk (Microsoft Clarity): session replay, heatmaps, and page analytics. Up to 1 year. Clarity also sets CLID, MUID, MR, SM, and ANONCHK on clarity.ms and bing.com. Up to 13 months.
• apolloAnonId (Apollo.io, local storage): identifies the company behind a website visit so our sales team can follow up. Until cleared.

Advertising measurement

Set on every visit, whatever you choose in the banner. We use it to measure whether our ads on ChatGPT lead to sign-ups and purchases. We do not use it to show you ads on other sites.

• __obref (OpenAI ChatGPT Ads pixel): attributes a sign-up or purchase to the ad that led to it. 1 year. OpenAI also sets Cloudflare security cookies (__cf_bm, _cfuvid) on its own domains.

Tag management and embedded content

• Google Tag Manager: loads the analytics and advertising tags above according to your choice. It sets no cookies of its own.
• YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA, __Secure-YNID, __Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN (YouTube): set by YouTube when a page includes an embedded video. Session / up to 6 months. These are governed by Google's own privacy policy.

We do not sell personal data collected through cookies.

3. Managing your preferences

• Use the cookie banner when you first visit, or change your choice any time on the Cookie Preferences page.
• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you control cookies per site and clear existing cookies. Check the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge for the exact steps.
• Send an opt-out request to support@pingaura.ai if you prefer.

The banner controls analytics cookies. Advertising measurement and embedded content are not controlled by the banner; you can block them in your browser settings.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break authentication, language, and theme settings. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies has no effect on core product functionality.

4. Changes to this policy

If we add a new cookie or change how an existing one is used, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will also prompt you to review your preferences.
