Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Last updated: 17 April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies PingAura uses on www.pingaura.ai and in the product, what they do, how long they last, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to remember information between page loads and visits. We also use related technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.

2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the site and product to function, so they are set without consent.

  • sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token (Supabase) — authenticate your session. Session / up to 7 days.
  • cookie-consent — remembers your cookie preferences. 6 months.
  • theme — remembers your light/dark mode. 1 year.
  • lang — remembers your language choice. 1 year.
  • CSRF / security tokens — protect form submissions and API calls. Session.

Analytics (optional)

Set only after you accept analytics cookies in the banner. They help us understand which features are useful and where the product can improve. We use them to look at trends, not to identify you.

  • ph_* (PostHog) — records anonymous product usage and distinct-id. Up to 1 year.
  • _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4) — anonymous page-view and session analytics. Up to 2 years.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not share your data for cross-context behavioural advertising.

3. Managing your preferences

  • Use the cookie banner when you first visit, or change your choice any time on the Cookie Preferences page.
  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you control cookies per site and clear existing cookies. Check the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge for the exact steps.
  • Send an opt-out request to [email protected] if you prefer.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break authentication, language, and theme settings. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on core product functionality.

4. Changes to this policy

If we add a new cookie or change how an existing one is used, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will also prompt you to review your preferences.
