ChatGPT Ads conversion tracking is now part of the Ads page, so you can see which campaigns lead to sign-ups and orders, not just clicks.
Highlights
- A new Conversions page, opened from the Ads page, with three tabs:
- Setup: create a source, then follow the pixel or server API install steps and watch recent events arrive.
- Event settings: choose the actions you count, such as an order or a registration, and whether a conversion counts within 7, 14 or 30 days of a click (30 by default).
- Reports: conversions, cost per conversion, conversion rate and spend, with a daily chart and a table by campaign, ad group or ad.
- A Conversions campaign objective, which bids toward one event setting. These campaigns are created paused, and their goal is fixed once created.
- Optional tracked events on click and impression campaigns, and conversion figures on each campaign.
- The server API key is shown once and never stored by PingAura. Only account owners can create one, and every key creation attempt is recorded in PingAura's internal audit trail.
- The AI Coworker can set up sources and event settings and read conversion reports. Anything it creates asks for your confirmation first.
Good to know
- Conversion tracking must be enabled for your ad account by OpenAI. If it is not, the page tells you, and your ChatGPT Ads connection keeps working as before.
- OpenAI offers no way to list or revoke conversion API keys, so keep the key somewhere safe when it is shown.
