About the role

Google SEO ruled for 20 years. Now people ask ChatGPT and Perplexity instead, and the old playbook does not work. PingAura helps marketing teams optimize and monetize how their brand shows up in AI answers. We have paying enterprise customers and are backed by 14 CXO angel investors, Google for Startups, and AWS.

We are hiring our first Account Executive focused on mid-market companies. This is not a support role. You will own the full sales cycle — from first call to signed deal. You will work with marketing leaders, SEO heads, and agency founders who already know AI search is changing their business.

Responsibilities

  • Run 30–50 discovery calls per month with marketing teams and agency leaders
  • Own the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting through demo, negotiation, and close
  • Close mid-market deals — smaller contract sizes, faster cycles, higher volume
  • Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound, inbound, and partner referrals
  • Sharpen positioning, pricing, and ideal customer profile with the founding team
  • Bring direct product feedback from sales conversations back to the team
  • Track pipeline, forecast accurately, and hit monthly targets
  • Create lightweight sales collateral as you learn what resonates

You may be a good fit if

  • You have 2–5 years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling to marketing or digital teams
  • You have closed deals end to end — not just booked meetings for someone else
  • You are comfortable selling a new category where buyers do not yet have a budget line item
  • You can explain a technical product in plain language without jargon
  • You communicate clearly in writing and on calls
  • You work well without a rigid playbook or a large support team
  • You are genuinely curious about AI, search, and how brands get discovered online

Strong candidates may also have

  • Experience selling into agencies
  • Experience selling SEO, content, or martech tools
  • A track record of building a pipeline from cold outbound in a new category

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission — top performers will earn well above market
