About the Job

Google SEO ruled for 20 years. Now people ask ChatGPT and Perplexity instead — and the old playbook doesn't work. PingAura helps marketing teams optimize and monetize how their brand shows up in AI answers. We already have paying enterprise customers and are backed by serial entrepreneurs with successful exits.

We're hiring our first Account Executive focused on mid-market companies. This is not a support role. You will own the full sales cycle — from first call to signed deal. You'll work with marketing leaders, SEO heads, and agency founders who know AI search is changing their business.

What you'll do

  • Run 30-50 discovery calls per month with marketing teams and agency leaders
  • Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through demo, negotiation, and close
  • Close mid-market deals — smaller contract sizes, faster cycles, higher volume
  • Build and manage your own pipeline using a mix of outbound, inbound, and partner referrals
  • Work closely with the founding team to sharpen our positioning, pricing, and ideal customer profile
  • Give direct product feedback based on what you hear in sales conversations
  • Track your pipeline, forecast accurately, and hit monthly targets
  • Create lightweight sales collateral as you learn what resonates

Who we're looking for

  • 2-5 years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling to marketing or digital teams
  • You've closed deals end-to-end — not just booked meetings for someone else
  • Comfortable selling a new category where buyers don't yet have a budget line item
  • You can explain a technical product in plain language without jargon
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Self-starter who works well without a rigid playbook or a large support team
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, search, and how brands get discovered online
  • Bonus: experience selling into agencies, or selling SEO / content / martech tools

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission — top performers will earn well above market
  • Early-stage equity as a founding team member
