ChatGPT ads for prompts where you're missing

Draft a ChatGPT ad for a prompt where AI answers cite others or rank you behind, and turn it into a paused campaign.

The Ads page now lists Prompts where you're missing: questions your buyers ask where AI answers cite others, or mention you but rank others ahead. You can show up in ChatGPT conversations like these while your content work catches up.

Highlights

  • Draft ad writes up to three ChatGPT ad variants for one prompt, from what your domain says you sell. Edit them, copy them, or pick the ones to use.
  • With ChatGPT Ads connected, Create paused campaign opens the build form with your copy and landing page filled in; you choose the image, countries, budget and bid there. Everything is created paused.
  • Each prompt shows where it stands: a draft you can continue, Campaign not finished (a paused campaign with no ad yet, which you can open), Campaign created, or In a suggested campaign, so you don't start a second campaign for the same conversations.
  • Optimize this prompt sits beside every row, because an ad covers the gap while the organic fix lands.

Good to know

  • Available on paid plans that include ChatGPT Ads.
  • Ad copy is checked against OpenAI's ad rules before you can save it: no competitor names, guarantees, rankings, growth claims, urgency, shouting capitals or exclamation marks. The same check now applies to the agent's suggested campaigns.
