Brand Memory

Tell PingAura who your brand is, how you write and what you know, so its suggestions and articles sound like you. Includes custom filters on Enterprise.

Brand Memory is what PingAura knows about your brand. It shapes the prompts PingAura suggests, the competitors it finds, and every article it writes. The more accurate it is, the less you will need to edit.

Open it from Domain settings → Brand Memory in the sidebar. Each domain has its own Brand Memory.

Brand

Your brand's identity:

  • Brand name: the name customers know you by.
  • Brand aliases: other names or spellings AI might use for you, such as a short name or an old name. PingAura counts these as mentions of you.
  • Brand Context: a short description of what you do and for whom. It guides positioning, tone and how PingAura compares you with competitors.
  • Location: your main city or region.
  • Geographic Reach: the markets where you want to win.
  • Language: the main language you speak to customers in.

PingAura drafts this from your website when you sign up. Check it, and keep it current when your positioning changes.

Writing Style

How your articles should read:

  • Auto-detect suggests a tone and style for you to start from.
  • Readability Level sets sentence length and vocabulary.
  • Custom Instructions are rules every article follows, such as "Always write in British English" or "Never mention pricing".

Knowledge

Upload documents for PingAura to draw on when it writes articles: product sheets, case studies, research, FAQs. It supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, MD, CSV and RTF.

For each article, PingAura picks the passages that best match the subject, so more material gives it better facts to work with. Upload only material you are happy to see quoted in public articles.

Filters (Enterprise)

Custom filters let you tag prompts with your own labels, such as product line, region or buying stage, and then filter every report by them.

  • Add up to five filters, each with a fixed list of values.
  • Tag prompts on the prompt detail page, or include filter columns when you import prompts.
  • The filters then appear on Visibility and other pages next to topic and engine.

You cannot remove a filter or value while prompts are still tagged with it. Retag those prompts first.
