Slack and webhooks
Get PingAura alerts in a Slack channel, or send them to Zapier, Make, n8n or your own endpoint.
Send PingAura alerts to the place your team already looks: a Slack channel, or any tool that accepts a webhook, such as Zapier, Make or n8n.
Events you can choose
| Event | When it fires |
|---|---|
| Visibility Drop | Your AI visibility score drops significantly |
| Article Ready | An article finishes generating |
| Article Published | An article is published to your website |
| Site Health Alert | Site Health finds critical issues |
| Integration Error | An integration keeps failing |
You pick the events for each connection, so you can send article updates to your content channel and visibility drops to your marketing channel.
Connect Slack
- In Slack, create an Incoming Webhook for the channel you want. Slack gives you a URL that starts with
https://hooks.slack.com/services/. - In PingAura, go to Workspace settings → Integrations and click + on the Slack card.
- Paste the Webhook URL. Add a Channel Name if you like, so you remember where it posts.
- Under Event Triggers, tick the events you want.
- Click Connect.
Connect a webhook
- Go to Workspace settings → Integrations and click + on the Webhook card.
- Enter the Webhook URL where PingAura should send events.
- Optionally, add a Signing Secret. PingAura then signs every event, so your endpoint can check it really came from PingAura. The signature is sent in the
X-Webhook-Signatureheader as an HMAC-SHA256 of the request body. - Tick the Event Triggers you want, and click Connect.
Whether Slack and webhooks are available depends on your plan.
